Personnel
Dr Michael MacAskill
has responsibility for the overall operation of the Lab. Please contact him if you have any queries or are interested in studying with us.
Daniel Myall
is a PhD candidate studying mathematical models of the basal ganglia and motor learning in Parkinson’s disease. He is also largely responsible for the considerable technical and programming work involved in getting the lab established.
Dr Paul Davidson
has extensive experience in studies of motor learning and feedback manipulation. Although most of his current activities involve other research areas, he still contributes invaluable technical and scientific assistance to the MoveLab.
Brian Ko
is a medical student who will complete a BMedSci in 2005 looking at memory-guided reaching movements in Parkinson’s disease (as well as conducting a study of saccade control).
Other senior personnel involved in the lab’s research include Prof. Tim Anderson and Assoc. Prof Richard Jones.
