Research Proposals

The Van der Veer Board has requested that all new research projects or new personnel to be fully or partially based on-site at the Institute be approved by the Chief Scientist (prior to proceeding) to assess:

topic, aims, and benefits,
establishment and support including supervision, co-researchers, space/workstations, and computing,
availability of funding for labs/equipment/clinics, technical support, and other research expenses,
ethical approval, and
potential to contribute to the overheads of the Institute.
